eMaxx Unveils Reciprocal Insurance Exchange for Policyholder-Owned Solutions

eMaxx, a leading managing general agent in policyholder-owned risk insurance solutions, has unveiled the eMaxx Reciprocal Insurance Exchange. Based in Arkansas, this new entity operates as a commercial property and casualty insurance provider, strategically enhancing their alternative risk platform. Designed to align with modern challenges, it endorses strategic underwriting and robust governance.

The eMaxx Reciprocal is owned by its policyholder subscribers and aims to enhance the offerings of eCaptiv, eMaxx's captive insurance company. Structured as a mutual benefit corporation with protected cell formations, it integrates policyholders as Subscribers and Owners. Membership involves compliance with specific loss prevention and safety criteria, emphasizing technology solutions like telematics and dash cameras.

Managed by an independent Attorney-in-Fact, membership in the eCaptiv program automatically confers Subscriber status in the Reciprocal Insurance Exchange. Michael Penza, President of Samuel Coraluzzo, highlights the shared governance model, underscoring accountability and loss prevention. Members must engage in risk management initiatives such as attending the Risk Management Summit and implementing return-to-work strategies.
