ASCS Launches New Public Entity Excess Casualty Program

Amwins Specialty Casualty Solutions (ASCS) has launched the Public Entity Excess Casualty Program, aimed at providing specialized insurance solutions for municipalities, schools, and special service districts. This new program offers liability coverage of up to $3,000,000 per occurrence and workers’ compensation coverage up to $2,000,000 per occurrence, available as follow-form excess or reinsurance. Coverage is available for a variety of public entities, including towns, public schools, and housing authorities, accommodating both insurance pools and individual risks.

The program is designed to meet the unique insurance needs of public entities, which have historically faced challenges in securing tailored reinsurance solutions. With a minimum self-insured retention (SIR) of $100,000 and a starting premium of $200,000, the program positions ASCS as a leader in the public entity market.
