Assist America, headquartered in New Jersey, excels in worldwide emergency travel assistance and generates approximately $20 million in annual revenues. This strategic acquisition aims to bolster IMG's presence in the medical and travel assistance sectors and expand its influence in the United States, Asia, and the Middle East.

Established in 1990 by George W. Howard, III, Assist America primarily integrates its services into corporate benefit plans, providing emergency assistance to over 40 million members across Asia, the Middle East, and North America. By enhancing these offerings, SiriusPoint strengthens its market position and improves its regulatory compliance requirements needed for successful expansion.

SiriusPoint, based in Bermuda, operates in key locations including New York, London, and Stockholm, holding licenses for multiple insurance types such as property, casualty, accident, and health insurance and reinsurance on a global scale. With $2.8 billion in total capital, its subsidiaries like IMG are critically positioned to offer a broad range of services, including international private medical insurance, travel medical insurance, and travel insurance.
