NFP Acquires Hamilton Insurance Agency to Boost Long-Term Care Services
NFP, in association with Aon, has strategically acquired Hamilton Insurance Agency of Fairfax, Virginia, a leader in the property casualty brokerage and benefits administration sectors. This acquisition significantly strengthens NFP’s foothold in the senior housing and long-term care insurance industries. By integrating Hamilton's expertise, NFP is set to enhance its AI-driven underwriting precision and risk management capabilities in these specialized markets.
The Hamilton team, comprised of roughly 65 seasoned professionals, offers a wealth of experience in serving the senior living and long-term care sectors. Leadership transitions accompany the acquisition, with Alan Zuccari, the founder, president, and CEO of Hamilton, stepping into the role of chairman emeritus. Joe Zuccari, previously the executive vice president for life and health, advances to senior vice president, contributing his extensive knowledge to bolster NFP’s regulatory compliance requirements.
Innovative Leadership for Strategic Growth
In a move to drive innovation within NFP, Jason Zuccari will continue as managing director, focusing on expanding NFP's senior living and long-term care offerings. His leadership, alongside Alan and Joe Zuccari, will be pivotal, reporting directly to Ethan Foxman, who oversees NFP's Atlantic region operations. NFP's acquisition additionally secures access to Hamilton’s proprietary technologies, Benelink Connect and the Electronic Risk Management Assistant, positioning NFP to enhance its service delivery in the benefits administration arena.
