Kanawha County Authorities Seek Help Locating Missing Teen Under State Care

The Kanawha County Sheriff's Office in West Virginia is seeking assistance from the public in locating 15-year-old Charnayjia Peterkin, who was reported missing last Saturday in the Cross Lanes area. Peterkin was under the care of the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources at the time of her disappearance. She was last seen wearing creme-colored sweats and may have left in an older blue boxy sedan. Authorities do not believe she is currently in danger but are requesting any information on her whereabouts be reported to law enforcement.
