UNC Health and Cigna Renew Agreement to Maintain In-Network Coverage
UNC Health and Cigna Healthcare have reached a new agreement ensuring continued in-network coverage for Cigna's commercial plan members across North Carolina. This contract renewal was effective retroactively from December 1, following the expiration of the previous contract on November 30. UNC Health will refund patients who paid out-of-network costs during the interim as claims are processed.
