EPIC Expands Transportation Insurance Platform with Sentry Acquisition

EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants has acquired the direct writing operation of Sentry Transportation, enhancing its national transportation insurance platform. Sentry, a mutual insurer based in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, will continue underwriting the policies while EPIC's Interstate Motor Carriers handles distribution. This acquisition adds over 500 trucking clients and aims to strengthen EPIC's market position and expand coverage options for motor carriers of varying sizes.
