Chubb Appoints Aaron Shead EVP, Head of Property for International Operations

Chubb Limited has appointed Aaron Shead as Executive Vice President (EVP), Head of Property for Overseas General Insurance (COG), effective immediately. In this role, Shead will lead the growth and profitability of Chubb's fire, terrorism, power, and energy insurance portfolios while managing property major accounts. Shead brings over 25 years of industry experience within Chubb, having previously served as Senior Vice President, Head of Fire for COG since 2018. His extensive background includes leadership positions across the UK, Asia, and Bermuda, specialising in energy and technical risks such as oil and gas, power generation, mining, and construction. Shead also held the role of Regional Vice President of Energy & Technical Risks in Singapore for six years, indicating significant regional expertise. The promotion reflects Chubb’s strategic focus on strengthening its international property and casualty insurance operations by leveraging global leadership with deep technical knowledge. This move aims to support innovative product development and sustainable business growth in competitive overseas markets.
