Forgery Charges Filed in South Carolina Over Life Insurance Surrender Check
The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division charged Greenwood resident Kimberly Denise Holloway with forging the signature of a deceased individual to cash a life insurance policy surrender check valued at $2,028. The check was issued by American General Life Insurance Company. Holloway admitted to the forgery and was subsequently charged with forgery and obtaining a signature under false pretenses. The investigation was initiated by the South Carolina Department of Insurance and Holloway was booked into the Greenwood County Detention Center.
