H.R. 6280 Receives Broad Support from U.S. Healthcare Associations and Clinicians

H.R. 6280 is gaining substantial support from over 200 U.S. associations and organizations representing various healthcare sectors, including patient groups, hospitals, health systems, academia, providers, and laboratories. Notable endorsers include the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics, American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network, and the National Organization for Rare Disorders, among others. Additionally, more than 500 individual clinicians such as doctors, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners have signed statements endorsing the bill. The National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC) has developed resources to facilitate support among its members, other healthcare providers, and patients, aiming to promote widespread advocacy for the bill across the healthcare industry.
