EMC Insurance Sells EMC National Life Stake to Avocet Partners

EMC Insurance is divesting its ownership stake in EMC National Life Insurance Co. to Avocet Partners. This transaction also includes EMC Insurance's interest in EMC National Life Mutual Holding Co. The sale price has not been publicly disclosed. As reported in EMC Insurance’s 2024 annual report, EMC National Life had $15.3 billion in life insurance coverage in force. The insurance entity will undergo a name change following the acquisition.
