Marsh McLennan Agency Expands with Acquisition of Three Hawaii Brokerages

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA), the brokerage division of Marsh focusing on small and mid-sized businesses, has acquired three Hawaii-based brokerages previously owned by Tradewind Group. The acquired firms — Atlas Insurance Agency, Pyramid Insurance Centre, and IC International — provide insurance coverage to businesses and individuals in Hawaii, including specialized coverage for municipal, transportation, and hospitality sectors. Around 300 employees from these companies will continue operations under MMA at their current locations. This acquisition is positioned as a strategic investment in Hawaii's market, notable for its diverse industries and economic resilience.
