Chubb Names Bill Hazelton COO of North America Field Operations
Chubb has announced the appointment of Bill Hazelton as Chief Operating Officer for North America Field Operations, effective December 1, 2025.
In this executive role, Hazelton will oversee the distribution and delivery of Chubb's comprehensive portfolio of personal and commercial insurance products across 48 branch offices in North America. His responsibilities include managing relationships with key agent and broker partners, driving business development, and aligning national distribution strategies with Chubb's growth objectives.
Reporting to Chris Maleno, Vice Chairman and Division President, North America Field Operations, Hazelton will leverage his extensive 30-year industry experience. His background spans underwriting, claims handling, and distribution partner management, including prior senior leadership roles within Chubb and recent executive experience at Everest Group, Ltd. This expertise positions him to strengthen Chubb's market presence and support strategic initiatives across all business segments.
Hazelton's return to Chubb marks a continuation of his previous service, where he held leadership roles in various specialized divisions including North America Industry Practices, Claims, and Environmental and Excess Casualty business units. His appointment is part of Chubb's ongoing efforts to optimize operational efficiency and deepen collaborative engagements with their sales channels.
