New Change for West Virginia commission schedule effective June 11, 2026

The state of West Virginia adopted a new Birthday Rule guideline effective on June 11, 2026, allowing Medicare recipients to shop their Medicare Supplement policy coverage each year on a Guaranteed Issue basis.

Effective June 11, 2026, any signed application will receive payment on a new commission schedule.

Starting January 1, 2026, all new Medicare Supplement applications in these states will be submitted under our new carrier: Insurance Company of North America (INA). INA brings competitive pricing, expanded benefits, and a streamlined agent experience—offering a strong opportunity for continued growth.

The following States have transitioned from ACE to INA effective January 1, 2026:

Last Day to Submit ACE Applications in Transition States:

All ACE Medicare Supplement applications in transitioning states must be signed and received by August 31, 2025. No exceptions can be made after this date.

First Day to Submit INA Applications in Transition States:

New business under INA will be accepted beginning September 1, 2025.
